Del Monte joins select group of customers co-developing Wombat’s rapidly- expanding suite of cyber security training modules
Wombat Security Technologies, a leading provider of cyber security training solutions, announced today that Del Monte Foods has selected Wombat Security Technologies’ (Wombat), Security Training Platform to improve internal security awareness. Del Monte is utilizing Wombat’s entire Security Training Platform to assess internal vulnerability and to train its workforce to recognize the numerous cyber-attacks launched on organizations every day.
Ryan Mann, manager of IT security and risk management at Del Monte Foods, said, “We selected Wombat because they offer a comprehensive cyber security preparedness platform. Wombat’s Platform enables us to assess internal risk and target training to employees who need it most, thereby strengthening our security profile.” Mann added, “We value the opportunity to collaborate with Wombat as the company continues to expand its suite of cyber security training modules.”
Wombat’s recently announced Security Training Platform, already licensed to over 300,000 users, combines simulated attacks, engaging training modules, administrative functions, reporting and analysis into one unique system. It addresses the most pressing cyber security issues including e-mail security, password management, social networking, smartphone vulnerabilities, phishing and social engineering.
“We are excited about the prospect of working with Ryan and the Del Monte team, to help them further bolster their employee security awareness and training programs,” said Joe Ferrara, president and CEO, Wombat. “Wombat’s cyber security training is effective because of its application of learning science principles, coupled with cyber security expertise and engaging software techniques.”
