Joining Wombat in 2011, Joe brings 20 years of experience in technology marketing, operations and management to his role as General Manager. Recently Joe was a finalist for EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia and received a CEO of the Year award from CEO World. Joe has provided expert commentary and has spoken at numerous information security industry events including RSA Europe, the CISO Executive Network forum, ISSA International and information security regional conferences. His previous roles include President, CEO and Chairman of Tollgrade Communications, CEO of Marconi Communications North America and General Manager of Ericsson’s Wireless Software & Services and Routing & Switching Divisions. Joe holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a B.S. from Penn State University.
Amy has 25 years of experience marketing a wide variety of business to business technology products and services including cyber security, telecommunications, healthcare technology, information technology, physical security and biotechnology. She has held marketing leadership roles in companies of all sizes, from start-ups to Fortune 20, such as BioReliance, Condor Technology Solutions, McKesson, and Ericsson. One of Amy’s key strengths is her ability to build strong relationships between sales and marketing, ensuring that all activities are delivering on the goal of generating leads which result in business opportunities and increased revenue. To achieve this goal, Amy has hands-on skills and experience leading all aspects of marketing: Public Relations, Product Management and Marketing, Investor and Analyst Relations, Marketing Communications, Market Research, Channel Marketing, and Sales Support. As recognition of her success in leading a highly productive marketing team through Ericsson’s acquisition of Marconi Communications, she was one of only a few Marconi employees selected for the Ericsson Executive Leadership program. Amy has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Marketing from Clarion University and completed post-graduate work at the University of Maryland.
As VP of Sales, Ralph leads Wombat’s direct and indirect sales activities which have contributed to Wombat’s significant growth. Ralph brings extensive sales, marketing, and operations experience to Wombat, including prior roles as VP of Sales and Marketing for both Solvaire Technologies and TekMethods, and as General Manager of Content Products at LogicLibrary. Ralph spent eight years at PassGo Technologies, where he was North American General Manager and VP of Worldwide Sales. While at PassGo, he quadrupled North American revenue and helped to position the company for acquisition by Axent Technologies (Symantec). Ralph began his technology sales career at Duquesne Systems/Legent, where he held several sales and sales management positions. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Robert Morris College.
Molly has had more than 20 years of experience leading operational teams, including customer service, IT, order management, facilities, finance, network operations, logistics, and supply chain. Prior to joining Wombat, she was the Senior Vice President of Operations at Carnegie Learning, which was sold to the Apollo Group in 2011. Molly previously led Global Service businesses for Ericsson, Marconi, and FORE Systems, including global 24/7 teams in Sao Paulo, Dublin, Montreal, Cleveland, Dallas, and Pittsburgh. She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in Biology from Pennsylvania State University.
Joining Wombat in 2015, Tom brings over 25 years of engineering and development management to Wombat. Prior to joining Wombat, Tom was VP on Product Development at Forever, assembling the team and the technology to deliver an award winning mobile and web application, growing to thousands of members. At Vivisimo, as Sr. VP of Engineering, Tom led the development team to deliver new products and focus that resulted in a successful acquisition and integration by IBM. Prior responsibilities included General Manager of ECI Telecom in Pittsburgh, Director of Technology and Collaboration and Director of Hardware development at Ericsson, through its acquisition of Marconi and FORE Systems. Tom received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon.
Kurt Wescoe joined Wombat Security Technologies shortly after its founding in July 2008 to lead its product development efforts. As Chief Architect he is responsible for ensuring Wombat's software and systems are built on a sound foundation, and evolve to meet the ever increasing scale as the company grows. Kurt brings over 10 years of experience, having previously held a variety of engineering positions across multiple industries. He has also served as a faculty member in the School of Computer Science’s master’s program in e-Business at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) since 2004. Kurt earned his M.Sc. in E-Commerce from CMU, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Summa Cum Laude.
