Sales Associate
Wombat sales associates will be working in a new, fast-paced, technology
company, closing new customer business while growing opportunities and
extending relationships with existing customers.
Ideal candidates are:

• Successful at penetrating new companies
• Extremely articulate and effective communicating with prospects and clients
• Committed to success and continuous improvement
Essential duties include:
• Actively pursue warm leads from marketing activities
• Perform lead generation via cold calls and sales research
• Handle sales and customer service inquiries via e-mail and phone
• Consistent follow-up to close opportunities
• Attend conferences and industry events
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 2+ years sales-related experience, preferably in technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Strong familiarity with the Internet
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel and Salesforce.com
We offer a competitive base salary, commission plan and a full benefits package including Medical and Dental, plus 401(k) plan. We are located in Oakland near the Carnegie Mellon University campus. This position will report to the VP of Sales and Operations. Some travel is required.
